Put a Spotlight on Leaders' Strengths and Areas of Improvement as a Trained LPI® Coach
Here at FlashPoint, we are always excited to start the new year off with new goals, new learning opportunities, and new skills! One opportunity we are excited about is the LPI® Coach Training program from our partner, Wiley.
What is LPI Coach Training?
LPI® Coach Training is an opportunity to explore the LPI®: Leadership Practices Inventory® in-depth for facilitators who are interested in hosting the LPI® Workshop for their leaders or want to more effectively debrief the LPI® 360-degree feedback report.
Who is LPI Coach Training for?
The program is ideal for leadership development professionals in internal training, HR, OD, and talent management roles; management and leadership consultants; and professors and educators who have coaching experience. It’s primarily a deep-dive on how to coach with the LPI® and how to use the LPI® feedback report in a debrief session with leaders, not a program geared toward those who want to learn how to coach. (If you're interested in learning a method for coaching, we recommend The Coaching Clinic®, especially for managers to learn how to coach direct reports to increase engagement and performance.)
What will LPI Coach Training participants learn?
Participants will walk away with a deeper understanding of the LPI® feedback report’s features, the interrelationships among the 30 behaviors, and key insights about The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership®. They will also partner up to practice analyzing and debriefing an LPI® feedback report, conducting thoughtful analysis of critical practice and behavior concepts to take home to their leaders.
What are the benefits of LPI Coach Training?
After becoming a Trained LPI® Coach, you will be better able to help your leaders become more effective through leadership coaching using the LPI®: Leadership Practices Inventory®. You will be able to more clearly help leaders see how the 30 behaviors relate to each other, as well as how those research-backed behaviors contribute to exemplary leadership. Finally, the program provides resources to help your leaders benefit even more from the LPI®.
